Membership

There are two categories of membership at VDMA: voting and associate membership. Voting members are those with verified Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) citizenship while associate members are those who wish to support VDMA in general including friends and extended family. While anyone is welcomed to attend all VDMA public events, only those with verified Métis citizenship can vote at general meetings or hold positions on the board. VDMA is a chartered community under MNBC and relies on their historians to confirm genealogy.
